Auld Lang Syne是一首苏格兰民谣，由苏格兰诗人罗伯特·彭斯(Robert Burns)于1788年创作，后经谱曲而广为传唱。Auld Lang Syne的英文意思为"old long since"，或者更通俗点讲就是"long long ago"、"days gone by"和"The good old days"。
　　在大多数英语国家里，Auld Lang Syne是新年夜大家怀念旧友，互相祝福时唱的歌曲，象征送走旧年而迎接新年的来临。欲望都市(Sex and the city)中用到了这首歌曲的慢板感伤版本，背景音乐响起的时候，Carrie从床上爬起，在圣诞夜独自去陪伴好友Miranda。
